My main goal at a photo shoot is to make you laugh, feel comfortable and give you space to open up to me and my lens. Often I feel my German accent helps to break the ice, by saying something silly.

My love for holding on to memories by taking photos started in 2001 in Montana, USA. I met my wonderful friend Annie, who would always have a disposable camera with her and click away at any fun occasion. We started to make each other photo books and collages, to remember our times together. Thank you Annie for taking me down this path.

When I became a mother in 2018 my wish to take high quality photos grew more. Before we moved from Austria to New Zealand in 2021, we booked in a family shoot. The photos turned out so beautiful and we treasure those memories very much. Finally in 2023 I invested in my Canon 5D Mark IV to take my passion to a next level and give other families the chance to hold on to their very special time. I started my Business, Bilderbuch.nz.
